Terms of use

The conditions and responsibilities that apply when using the Weld Works Hub estimating application.

Acceptance

By using Weld Works Hub, you agree to these terms. Do not use the application if you do not agree.

Estimating aid only

Weld Works Hub is an estimating and document-preparation aid. It does not provide accounting, tax, legal, engineering, structural, welding-procedure, certification, inspection, or safety advice.

User responsibility

You are responsible for verifying all information entered into or generated by the application, including measurements, quantities, material specifications, labor hours, rates, waste, overhead, contingency, profit, tax, payment terms, scope, exclusions, warranty, schedule, and customer details.

You are also responsible for ensuring that work is designed, supervised, fabricated, welded, inspected, and installed by appropriately qualified persons under the applicable laws, codes, standards, permits, and safety requirements.

No guarantee of profit or acceptance

Calculated profit is based on the assumptions entered by the user. Weld Works Hub does not guarantee that a job will be profitable, that actual costs will match the estimate, or that a customer will accept or pay a quotation.

Local data

The current application stores data in the browser. You are responsible for device security, authorized access, and exporting backups. Weld Works Hub is not responsible for data lost because browser storage is cleared, unavailable, corrupted, or inaccessible.

Availability and changes

The service may be changed, interrupted, suspended, or discontinued. Features and calculation behavior may be corrected or revised between releases.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Weld Works Hub is provided “as is” without warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Weld Works Hub is not liable for business loss, lost profit, data loss, contract disputes, property damage, injury, or other loss arising from use of or reliance on the application.

External services

Use of external hosting, browser, print, PDF, GitHub, or other third-party services is subject to their own terms.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
